Matthew Eschliman is a professional musician and teacher in the Denver area. Matthew received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Doane College in 2016 and has been operating in Denver since 2018. Matthew performs with professional choral ensembles, teaches private lessons, and works as a substitute teacher for Cherry Creek School District, primarily in choir, band, and orchestra classrooms.

The child of two music teachers, Matthew was singing and playing instruments since before he could talk. Hailing from Elkridge, Maryland He relocated with his family to Nebraska after his father retired from the United States Air Force. Matthew graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School in 2012.

Matthew remained in Nebraska after high school to study music education at Doane College. While enrolled at Doane, Matthew was an active member of six instrumental and choral ensembles all four years he attended the school. These ensembles encompassed a variety of styles from classical, jazz, contemporary a cappella, barbershop, and musical theatre. He completed his student teaching at Lincoln East High School under the direction of Dr. Brett Epperson. Matthew also studied at the masters level in Education: Curriculum and Instruction through Doane College and at the masters level in Music Education through the University of Nebraska.

Upon graduating, Matthew taught middle school choir and general music in Grand Island, Nebraska. He was instrumental in writing the middle school general music curriculum for the district after his first year of teaching. Matthew taught private voice lesson to rural community students during this time as well.

A move to Denver in the summer of 2018 helped Matthew pursue a more active performance career in choral and instrumental music.
